This section of the program exemplifies various non-lethal clinical techniques including drawing blood, taking a skin scrape and obtaining a gill biopsy. QuickTime movies, such as seen in the center of the screen, permit users to actually watch techniques in action. QuickTime movies provide pause, fast-forward and rewind functions. At the bottom left of the screen, users can click on the "More Details" button and observe an animation of needle placement into the caudal vessel.
